I posted this in the reef section, but if this is a disease, thought i would check here as well...i have a boxer crab that has a red sac in its breastplate...if no one has an answer can someone direct me to a website that may be able to help me...because they are so tiny, it is hard to tell what this sac is....i am having difficulty finding any information on these little guys....
thank you

Crabs carry their eggs in their breastplate until just before they hatch at which time each hatching egg is released into the water current. I had so many of my emerald crabs do this theirs are green, not red. Unfortunately none of the larvae made it. My fishes had a feast :D
