......It isn't someone you know or seen with your own eyes..it's something you dug up on the internet.
Surely you have better things to do. My grandaughter at two years old taught me a great lesson on life...Don't look, it will just upset you.
I don't live under a rock afraid to look at life.... I watch the news every night and morning, plenty of horror stories of children that can't even sit in their own home and not have a stray bullet kill them. Then there is the commercial from the Humane Society of all those poor dogs and cats with oozing sores and a straved horse....and you are on the net looking for stuff to get upset about on purpose.
I'm not trying to be mean, just put things into perspective. The majority of people EAT fish, not spend a Kings fortune to keep them as pets...they are just fish, and in the ocean, bigger fish would eat them. On a personal note, I think all those beautiful lobsters kept in a bare tank on top of each other at the super market is cruel.
Some years back, my sister and brother in law went fishing and caught catfish. When they came in they tossed the fish in the kitchen sink...an hour goes by while they say their hellos and hee haw. I go to he kitchen for a soda and see that they are still alive gasping for air waiting to die. So I plugged the sink and added some water so they could at least be comfortable before they were killed, my sister caught me and laughed. I started crying and tried to explain.... it seemed so cruel to just lay there waiting to die like that. I just looked stupid to everyone else.
