I took it out of the bag and glued it to the back glass. it was size of two dimes 2months ago now size of two quaters, of course my temps were real close and water chemistry

put it in a place with moderate to high flow. also put it in a spot where its not going to start growing over anything important, or any good places where you plan on putting coralss in the future. also put it in a spot where its easily accesible so you can frag it if you want.
i only temp acclimated mine, but it wouldnt hurt to drip acclimate.
i personally like gsp because its an easy coral to frag and then trade for other corals, it also grows rather quickly, youll notice iwthin the first two weeks that its already spreading fast. i also put mine in a high light area, and it does geat.

rubber bands work - try not to crush the polyps. They attach fairly quickly. You could always try superglue also; dry off the rock and the bottom fo the mat first... or a combo of both.
I got mine; they fell off a rock and the LFS owner I'm friends with gave me it for free... I was like, hmm, guess I'm stepping into the reef world =P.
