Gsp??

Ok i just got MH with my new tank and i have never had any cool corals like gsp(they are cool to me) so when my tank is ready is there anything i need to know about gsp before i get some? And will a tree leather be ok under MH or is that too strong of lighting?

Green Star Polyps will be fine under MH lighting. They really dont require all that much light. You may want to keep them in the lower half of your tank so they dont get burned by the MH. Same goes for the leather...

acclimate them slowly. most likely, they are coming from weaker lighting and will "burn" if just thrown under the halides.

Although I have my GSP's about 3" below the surface of my water under a 150watt MH light. I acclimated them to my new light over the course of about 2 weeks.

thanks for the advice, how should i light acclimate them.im not used to this much light?

I believe you start them on the bottom and move them up as time progresses.
