ok i have a green star polyp that i boughtr like 2 months ago. its about 2 inces big. i am wondering if i should be sing more mat than the polyps. like some crap was on it (algea or floating stuff from the tank) and i brushed it off gently with a tooth brush. it still opens up everyday but not all the little head looking things. i was wondering if i should just let it be and how offten should i clean it. there is some groth, part of the matt is a lighter purple were its growing. wat tep. should i have the tank in there so the stupied algea dosent come back and the coral is happy. i just want to make sure everything is perfect cuze im having a red and blue shrrom and toadstool shiped over thursday and i dont want that to get all stupied tlike this thing
