i have a small pice of green star polyp and it was part of a bigger pice but never did well so i gut it off and glued this pice.... i went to clean its matt today... (hadent done that in forever) and it had some fuzzy stuff on the back of the little rock its on??? is this badd... it has never done well in my tank for some reason and i have no problem throwing it away i dont want it to get to my musroom and toadstool

I am guessing the fuzz is algae, so it won't bother your other corals.
I have a few questions though, what do you mean by "you went to clean its matt"?
What are your water parameters? Its not normal for algae to grow on healthy coral, and GSP is just about a bullet proof coral its very difficult to kill so if it isn't doing well in your tank I am guessing your water parameters are off somehow.
