I am surprised that noone has said they eat each other. The little do it all the time. It seems like they gang up one until it is gone then the remaining ones pick out the next victum until the herd is down to one.

I'm more surprised no one mentioned how overstocked a 10 gallon would be with 6 Chromis.

If youre saying tap water then you don't live anywhere NY. It's great up here. Tap water is perfect being around the great lakes.
