ok i have these white stringy things growing from my glass , what are they , i have no clue , they just started growing , i just started using iodine and i think calcium , what are these ?

I know I'm an extereme newby with this and all, but the last time I found white stringy things on my tank's glass they ended up being snail egg ribbons (I think they're called)... not sure if that's what you have.....
