Gymnothorax vs Echidna eels

So they will get along:notsure: ? I have a chainlink eel and i'm planning on getting a gymnothorax Fimbriatus (sp?)eel the same size of my chainlink. So does that sound good? Trying to get lots of info as i can. thanks

fimbriated= mean as they get older.
chainlink= nice
U decide if thats a good idea or not.

:thinking: Well the one at my pet store has a big sfe in with the fimbriate eel and it seems like they are fine....still thinking

Becu fimbraited eels are likely to be dangerousish. I heard from a friend that they will bite a large fish in half. THey gots teeth, and a tude problem. If u really want one, id advise that you have it in there all by itself. ITs a mean one.

I'd take the fact that no one tried it as a suggestion to leave this pairing alone. From what I've heard, again just my opinion, I'd still have to say I wouldn't trust it.

there really isnt one. Chainlinks are very passive and would be attacked.
