Hair Alage

For about a month, I've been having this green hair alage growing on my rocks and some on the sand. I haven't tested my water in a while, but I'm sure its pretty good. any suggestions? Below are some pictures of what it looks like.

Well test your water my 1st suggestion.Yes high phosphate levels will do it.

I have the same issues...
the things people have told me are that I could have high phosphate levels from water supply or I could be overfeeding
could either of these be an issue
also having lights on too much could not help the situation

Could be a combination of high organics, lighting loosing spectrum (old and needing replacement), tank setup where gets light from outside hitting it (too many hours of lighting-most of us run our light in the evening), water from tap or poor quality bottled, overfeeding, temps too high.
