It has been a loooong time since ive been on here last and ive had some issues since then. I went through a few rough periods when my tank wasn't exactly a priority to me, and ive had one main problem. I had a hair algea break out, and now that im out of school i have time to do something about it. I can post pics if anyone wants, but lets just leave it at it is very bad. I have two clown fish and a few inverts still (peppermint shrimp, hermits, snails). Im asuuming nitrates and phosphates are high, im getting water tests tomorrow, soo i need some some info on what to do, my knowledge is a bit rusty, but my plan is to do a few 50% ish water changes depending on how my parameters come out tomorrow, then what i really need help on, is how do i get rid of the algea? is there any way besides just pulling it out? if not im prepared to take it on, but if there are any alternatives, im all ears. (or eyes, i guess? lol) any help is appreciated, thanks, in advance.
sincerely, Hunter:)

For a spot treatment I recommended to remove the rock use a drip of peroxide directly on the patch and let sit for couple minutes. Rinse then re-insert in the tank. Or for a full dip 50/50 Hydrogen Peroxide dip for ten minutes. Some corals have survived Hydrogen Peroxide dips but I have not done it so would not advise it.
