My tank started to produce hair algae. Its starting to get worse. I cut down my feeding. Cut down my lighting. Will a lawnmower bleamy help it out?? I also have a Luna Wrasse and a Porcupine puffer in my tank too. Is there anything else that will feed off this hair problem?? Will turbo snails or crabs be eatin by my wrasse?? I also use RO/DI.

I had a horrible algae problem too about a month after setting up my tank. This is what i did.
1Cut my lights to 8 hrs a day (max)
2got a lawnmower blenny
3picked up about 15 snails
42manualy removed about 3/4 of it from the glass with a blade and a gravel siphon
Note: I have a 125gal tank so a bad algae problem is bigger than most. Also make sure that no sunlight hits the tank that in itself creates a nasty green slimy sludge algae.
