hair eating snails

know of any snails that eat hair algae?

turbo snails from pacific and mexico. mine ate all the red hair algae when i had an outbreak awhile back.

i dont know about snails but a lawnmower blenny will cure your hair algea quick, but make sure you feed some algea strips also

So says the dr.s web site. That is the only place I have read that. I recently added one and he has yet to touch any coral. He has been worth while addition

The only thing I have seen that will consistently eat hair algae and really mow it over is a seahare, they are machines!

are cream blennys the same as lawnmowers? they look the same to me.. thats what my lfs calls them.
