Hairy algae & super glueing coral to live rock

I have a 30 gallon tank set up for about 4 weeks which has a large growth of hairy algae , after reading different post can't decide if this is bad or good. I also have a question how do you super glue coral to your live rock, do you take it out of the tank or What? thanks for info

Hair algae sounds like a phosphate problem. Make certain you use only RO/DI water. NO tap water. Also, do not over feed your tank. This often causes problem algae. As far as the glue goes; I use super glue gel. Yes, you can do this out of water.
