Hairy Emerald Crab

I have a really weird question. I have been doing saltwater for a number of years, but this has me completely stump. I recently received 2 emerald crabs from this site for free. (Their repeat buyers club) One is the normal that I am use to the other is extremely hairy. I have spent hours in front of my tank, hoping to get the best picture of it, only to be disappointed. He/She is very shy unlike the other (normal) is very outgoing. Is there a different species that I am unfamiliar with? It seems to be doing the usual things. His legs are very hairy where as the other one is almost shaven...Girl/boy?...LOL!! Any help will be appreciated.

I got three little emeral crabs the other day, they are pretty little, but they are very hairy guys. I have a bigger one in my 55, it is a very bright emeral green, but not as hairy. Just its back legs. They are very pretty crabs. So I wonder as they get bigger maybe they loose some of the hair. :notsure:

This could be the reason, one is slightly, only slightly larger than the one in question. Anyone else care to answer?

How big are yours...mine are maybe an inch and a half. The larger one only slightly larger. I am use to seeing 2 inch emeralds with almost no hair. One of mine is really creapy looking....almost spider looking. :scared:

Mine are 1.5"-2". They live under my mushroom colony.
