Hairy mushroom question

Hi,
I recently got a hiary mushroom frag and was wondering about placement of this. my LFS owner said it does not need light and could be placed under a rock ledge and it does not need that much flow. I then read that it needs high light and medium flow. I have a 40G tank with 4 watts per gallong of HO lights. Any ideas???

hairy shooms need low- medium light, i have mine in a mudium/ high flow area, but they open up bigger with less flow

Agreed, medium light and some flow but not a whole lot. They are pretty darn hardy and you can keep moving them until you see where they open up best.
