Hairy Mushroom Splitting?

For the past month or so I noticed a this bump on my mushroom. It sticks up about 1/4-1/2". I am trying to figure out what it is. I don't know much about corals yet. I have been hoping that maybe its another mouth forming and that it might be splitting or something along those lines. Any help will be appreciated.

Upon further inspection I notice that one of the bulb like things right next to the circled area has been growing all kind of knobs on it and it looks as though its hanging by a thread. Should I be watching this one to see if it comes off and if it does come off will it grow into a whole new shroom?
