halimeda is one of the least edible macros out there. your very unlikly to find a fish that eats it more than a nibble or two. its basicly rock in plant form (highly calcerous) the good thing is it doesnt handle prunig well. let it grow big prune it severly (rip out a bunch) and the rest may die off, but be prepared for the nutrient spike that may be associated with it.
