i didnt know they made those for SW. doesnt seem cost effective anyways. halogen burnout faster than any light ever. fart wrong and they explode.

now if you mean halide...theres a different story. 250W for a shallower tank...20" or so.
350s will sport a good 21-30"
400+ for the deeper 125's
These are just ballpark numbers, honestly you could put 400's in the 20" deep tank, but I personally am happy with the 3x250's I got for my 125 tank. Now I know I will have tang police come out and jump all over me about wattage...whatever. I got into a stink with someone over 250w vs 400w on my 125g, and in the end when he saw it....he conceded that I was fine with the 250's.
AS for spectrum 10-20k. Different spectrum's different growth/corals/coloration. Its really good idea to mix say....1bulb 12-14k. And another 16-18k. or whatever you choose. these are just some general ideas, definitely not the end all be all.
Some of the nicest tank you will ever see have multiple light spectrum's
