Halimeda Plant- good as other caulerpa?

Is the Halimeda Plant (Money plant) as good as other macroalgae (i.e. grape caulerpa) for absorbing/using nitrates in the systerm?

it's good but it will also use up allot of calcium. Be careful when you prune it as it doesn't respond well to being cut off too short.
