Hammer coral and aiptasia

My hammer coral isn't looking so hot lately. I've had it for about 2 years and it has always opened up fully, but now is barely showing signs of life on parts of it. Any tips on how to recover the big guy?
Also, I have aiptasia in my tank thanks to the darn local fish store. What's the best way to get rid of them?

Aiptasia X has always worked the best for me, especially with larger ones.
Not sure about your coral. How are your water parameters and lighting? Are any tank inhabitants irritating it?
