Hammer coral with one head not doing to well

I got this coral yesterday. I was told it was a hammer coral (but apparently its a frogspawn) it has about 10 heads and all of them have opened up but one. The one that is not really opened the polyups are just kind of hanging out and i think this head may be dead if so what do i do? The head that is not doing so well is in the back and i cant get a good pic of it.
edited for headcount and changed from hammer to frogspawn.

at this point i am not as much concerened as to what it is as to what i should do. i dont want this single head that isnt doing to well to disrupt my tank. Thanks for your opinion though.

Give it some time. It's stressed and it should be ok after a few days. sometimes it might take a week for the full expansion of the polyps. And yes, its a frogspawn.

Make sure it's in decent but not strong flow and keep an eye out for brown jelly infection, if the head is injured that could be a problem.

great thanks i am just parinoid i guess since all the other heads opened up right away. Got so much into this tank already I would hate to see it crash over one head (the smallest one at that) I will say that me and my GF agree it looks much better than it did in the LFS when we got it. (it did not have any green in the LFS tank soon as it opened up it started showing a lot of green.

the spot it is in in my tank is one of the lower flow areas (over al tank has 10x flow) It seems to be getting just enough to make the polyups flow but not enough to really wave them around a lot. The other heads seem to be pretty happy.

Petjunkie How would you treat the brown jelly thing that you are talking about? And what is that really? I've seen it and normally that kills that head. Is there a way to stop it?
thanks!

For brown jelly you have to siphon out as much as possible and cut off dead heads, it will spread very fast, I'm not sure if any dips would help, never dealt with it myself thankfully.

Ya. Thats what I thought! I had a frogspawn that this happened to and I dipped it in seachem coral disinfectant and it seemed to help a little. However, it continued to spread and I lost two heads before I cut them off. Then, everything was ok.
Thanks for your reply petjunkie!
