hammer coral

my hammer coral keeps having long sweeping tenticles, i think its a feeding issue, i feed marine snow and use a turkey baster with mysis shrimp. but it still happens. today i threw a small peice of fish in him, like i do to my heliofungia. can he actually eat it? does he have a mouth? im having a similar problem with my torch. no issues with water parameters. i have metal halides with plenty of flow. what should i be doing about feeding?

This how they feed, usually at night. I feed Rods and cyclops. Just keep other corals about 6" away from them you should be good.
