hammer expanding??

My hammer is pritty close to the mh and it just seems to keep on opening and expanding more and more each day. It s now getting so the hammers of th coral are touching the lr. Is this a problem do hammers strta new colnleys? should I move it? Thanks a lot

you most likely have to much current.. ive noticed with mine the more current the more they expand.. the ends of my coral touch the rock sometimes and i have no problems.. the same with my pearl bubble..no problems..
