Hammer Question?

i got a hammer coral about two weeks ago and just these past couple of days ive been looking at others and everyone ethier has it branching out or it just is a lot bigger then mine. I bought the biggest one in the store so im pretty sure its not just a baby but my question is this, will the mantel ever branch out or expand? it seems pretty hard?:needhelp:

Yours is probably a walling. It has a singe skeleton and will not grow more branches.

I'm not sure I fully understand your question...but it seems you are wondering if the coral you have will grow new branchs and/or stalks like many others you have seen do?
There can be numerous types of corals...some are branching and over time will develop new branchs. others are single structures that as they grow simply become larger.
I hope that addresses your question....
