hammer

i just got a hammer 2 days ago. i also have some zoos(ive had them for about 2 months) and the zoos close up when i turn the light off. im just guessing thats normal but my hammer doesnt. is it supposed to or does it just stay out all the time.
P.S. can i feed the hammer plankton? my LFS says my zoos also need it but someone on here said all the zoos need is the right lighting.

I dont think that a hammer can eat plankton, toos small. They dont necessarily need to be fed but would prefer something meaty if they will take it. What type of lights do you have?

i have PC lights. 130 watss over a 29 gallon. the LFS store said in their personal tanks they have a hammer under PC lights.
so im kinda new at corals and everything what would you feed your hammer and how? if you would even feed it.
