Hammers branch breaking please help

As the title claims I have had the branches snap off a couple of times from me. But yesterday one broke by itself. Is there somthing I can do to stop this or is this normal?

lighting: 110 watts power compact

nitrates:0
calcium:440
water change every two weeks 10%

I am not sure if I would call it normal, but the animal is in the head.
So a branch breaking is not really a big issue unless it is damaging the head.

No each section os doing fine. But I used to have one large head now 6 smaller heads. Just wanted to know if i was doing somting wrong.
