hang on back closed loop?

I would like to know if there is such a thing as a hang on back closed loop system?
would love to get all or most of the powerheads out of my 120 gallon tank.

my tank is drilled bottom for sump but not for closed loop.
the intake would go over top and same for returns.

Yes that would work....alot of people do that, that don't have the luxury of drilling the tank anymore........

Looking for something like this? some old topics of a similar nature that might help ya. Do a search in the forums for closed loop. Lots of good old threads there. If your up for some reading.
