anyone use them?
if so, what do you keep in them and what kinds are they?
I really wanted a sump/andor/fuge but because of the plumbing and space, I wasnt able to get one up...
I have a 90gallon [5months old] with 140#+ Fiji LR, a 1.5-2" sand bed, 2 of the XL aquaclears w/ sponge media, a powerhead/filter combo, and more powerheads... I was thinking of the hang on refugium type... I would like to hear any experiences you have with them...
also today I went to big al's in search of a pair of tomato clowns and I saw a tank of kole/pb tangs... the pb's were pretty wasted away and the koles looked okay... I had wanted a kole but the colours werent enough for me... then I saw this gorgeous 4" dark blue/purple/yellow one swim out and I got him for $30 Can (~20 U.S.)...
I really wanted a pb eventually but Im worried he would destroy all of my halimedia/caulerpas...
anyways he went right to work and started eating algae off the glass... hasnt shown much interest in any macros...
do you think he'll go after them next?
thanks,
Drew :)

Tangs and macros usually dont mix. <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />
I have an ecosystem HOB. Its ok but there is not much space to grow the macros. I have only had it running for about a month now so I cant really say anything good or bad about it.

Yes I believe so. It is a rather small area as mentioned before and the light is a 13W power compact.
