what is the best hang on skimmer for a 55gl
research is not helping with mixed reviews

Well , your going to get mixed reviews either way . I like Sea clone and Coralife skimmers but many on this site think they are junk .

coralife works pretty good from what many have said is cheaper but big. aqua c remora is more expensive but smaller and requires no air or water height adjustments just adjust the cup that fills up

I like my Aqua C Remora. Easy to set up, easy to operate and it actually works!

Fish.......Best I have personally used are the Remoras. They are more expensive, but take up less room that the Coralife. However, I have used the Coralife, and for the money, they do a good job.
