hanging my metal halides

I was looking around for some new lights in the category of metal halides. all of the halides that fit my needs didnt have legs. Would a hanging kit ruin my ceiling.

It will put some holes in it. So if you were in a rented place then you would need to have the holes patched when you left. Just like hanging a heavy picture.

You could always put some brackets in the wall instead of having to go all the way up to the ceiling.
