girl.....I was just thinking of you. I was shopping for an anniversary card today for someone and saw the mothers day cards. breifly thought, "I need to get cards for my mom from me and my kids". Ugh first mothers day that I have no one to go and see.

We celebrated it in advance, I took my mom for dinner and bought her some dress, and she really appreciated it. It was my second treat for her since I got my job..

Hope all the moms out there had a good day. It was my wife's first Mother's Day this year. Made her some home-made blueberry waffles for breakfast and got her a nice necklace and earrings. We spent time with the boys, did some running around and then went to my folks for dinner and to spend some time with my mom.

I almost forgot to call my mom yesterday since we did mother's day on Saturday. She would have been pissed if I hadn't called. My dad would have been mad too. That was a close one!!
