About 3 months ago I bought a mushroom rock that had all of these craters in it. I figured that it was the skeleton of some long dead hard coral and just made for a really pretty piece of live rock. Well the other night I noticed that about 4 of the little craters had some coral tissue in them, I figured that they were just baby mushrooms but they were all connected and had those little feeding tentacles out. They are a greenish color around the outside and a dark pink in the middle, they also have a mouth looking in the center of the little pods. I’m sorry but they are so small that pictures all turned out crappy.
