well......................were totally at a lose!! we did what we were told.........and 5 fish have dies......i think it was just to far gone,..the ick. after a yr wed never had nothing go wrong....and now this.well,........we bought a protein skimmer and were going to change out the bed from crush coral to the sand stuff...........hubby is doing it............our angel,domino,victorian scally,yellow tail and striped damsels all died. now we have left a blenny,yellow tang,blue damsel,and a clown. yesterday we made a trip 2 hrs away to go to kermitts reef to ask his help.........and he sold us some kick ick,,,,,,and yes i hear things about that stuff but we tried the other stuff cept the copper.........so what does anyone thing we should do now..........ph is 0.8,....nitrites o amonia o,temp 76ish.............................what now?????

Well soory to hear about your loss. I am no expert but try soaking food in garlic before feedings and maybe invest in a UV steralizer. If u have a hospital tank you could medicate them with copper solutions this is necassary only if your main tank is a reef tank. Good Luck.

Is your tank grounded? I know this sounds funny but if you have lots of things running in your tank like pc,vho's, mh's or any other kinda power head or fitration. Get a voltage meter and stick the positve in your tank and the neg to a ground, your tank will register on the volt meter. I have seen a tank wil horrible ick problems that were solved by grouding the tank.

terry b, do you ground your tank? Have you ever heard of anyone doing so?
