Hard plumbing the overflows

I have two overflows and will be using them in my new tank. However, I presently have hose attached to them.
I would like to use pvc so that I can regulate the amount going into each side of the sump.
How do I attach the pvc to the bulkhead out of the overflow box?

1" PVC should fit right in the bulkhead coming out of the overflow. I'm not sure why you'd want to restrict any of the flow coming from the overflow though.

Sorry.
I want less than the full flow going into the fuge portion of my sump (the rest would go into the sump (with the skimmer, where water flow is not a concern).
So how do you T the pvc so that it sends some of the flow into the fuge and the rest into the sump. I'm assuming something that can be modified versus just a plain T

You'd have a normal T with a ball valve on each part after the split to regulate the flow. Personally, I just prefer to use my return pipes to get water into my fuge and dump both overflows into the first filtration section of my sump. I have a return pump much stronger then my overflows though.

I guess I'm not quite following the return pump to the sump. Any pictures?

This is my return line from my pump. The piece that goes off to the right with the ball valve is what deposits water into my fuge.
