Hard plumbing your RO water

I not sure if I am using the right words to search but is there any threads on here with anyone who has hard plumbed their water from storage tank to display tank for water top off and changing purposes. I know how I wanna do it but I like seeing other's setups, may give me a good idea. Thanks!

Generally it's not recommended to plumb a large storage tank directly to the DT.
Should your overflow system fail or a float switch/valve stick, you'd flood, and possibly catastrophically drop your salinity at the same time.
So most people don't do it, so you may not find many people that can show it off.
Why not talk about what you want to do (perhaps post a diagram) and then folks can discuss that?

Well I have 2 30 gallon drums. they will not be plumbed directly to my sump or DT. I want to put them next to my RODI unit in my shed where my water is made. I would then run a fresh and salt line to the wall next to my DT with valves on the end. I could then have a low voltage switch that would turn on a relayed 110V pump in my 30 gallon drum, open the valve and retrieve as much fresh or salt water as I would need for top off or water changing purposes. If this didn't clear up my intentions please let me know. i will draw something.

Well it sounds like you have this for the most part figured out.
You'll need a fairly strong pump depending on the distance the water will be traveling, and either bury or somehow insulate the lines if they are running outside to prevent freezing (if it's at all a problem where you live).
I'd use PVC for the job. They make PVC spigots that will mount on the wall real nice, plus it's dirt cheap to run. I can't really recommend a pump since I don't know the distance and head.

well I have 9 foot ceilings and will be about a 40 foot horizontal run and a 9 foot drop at other end. I live 40 min south of new orleans. No freeze here buddy

My water jugs will be on the ground or on some small platform. From there I want to pump it up to my attic 9- 10 foot from ground level. Rn to my tank location and come back down in the wall to a spigot or valve of some sort. I will just start and post pictures.
