hard tube coco worm has passed...

My sweet, gentle coco worm, whom I named "Coco", has passed away at the ripe old age of 1 1/2 years. It was always there to greet me when I walked up to the tank, and occasionally it would play "peep eyes" by ducking into it's tube and then peeping out. I'll miss those days. I'd like to request a moment of silence in honor of Coco...

How do you really know its gone? Maybe it just lost the crown and will grow another?

It's been gone over two months. I waited this long just to be sure. My feather dusters take a couple of weeks to show their new crowns, and since they're in the same family, I assume it should take around the same time frame... give or take a week... or two. I gave it an extra month... *sniff* I'll keep his tube as a reminder of all of our good times. *sigh*
