hello i was just thinking and i am starting to think saltwater fish are alot hardly then freshwater i have had no probelms with salt water so far

I think you're looking for the word "hardy".
I thought the same thing when I went from fresh water to salt water.

It depends on the fish, be it salt or freshwater. A fish as long as it is kept in good water conditions for its needs, will grow and survive for years
LOL…JMO..I think keeping a saltwater tank is easier than a freshwater. In saltwater I have a CUC, in a freshwater tank, I was the CUC.

The placosomus (spelling?) was the only useful algae eater, and it wasn’t that good at it. Freshwater snails made the tank really nasty, and they multiplied to plague proportions.
Rock and décor in a freshwater tank was just a collector of nasty to be scrubbed off once a month. The fish ate all the plants, so nothing natural could survive, except the fish themselves.
I love my mini reef!
