RBTA!!!! when i first got mine he split right off the back well the baby almost died it got down to about 1" with no tentacles but he grew fast and is the one in my avitar thats in a cave, he splits alot becuase hes in the cave i belive but its up to him to move as im not going to move him if hes doing ok
condis are easy ones to IMO but dont split as much as BTAs

Anemones splitting often may be a sign of them being unhappy. The "split" is seen as an asexual way of seperating in the hope that one of the two will survive.
Not saying for sure that is what is going on, but if you BTA isn't growing huge before it splits there may be something else going on.

IMO condy's and BTA's are pretty hardy. But that should be taken with a grain of salt IMO. Abrupt change will affect them almost instantly, as will any amount of toxins in your tank like Amonia, or some of the so called "Reef Safe" medicines that are out there. In general anemones care level depending on species start at difficult and go up from there. Just my 2 cents.

tube anemone because they don't rely on photosynthesis so not a high lighting requirement...so you just feed them some frozen brine shrimp. but you still need to keep good water quality of course! i have one and they are pretty awesome! good luck!

They are a good choice although they are not anemones....
