hardy non aggressive fishes for during cycling?

dead raw shrimp will cycle your tank, and theyre not aggressive either. but you dont get to watch anything swim. id recommend going this route if not youll probably regret using damsels later. all you gotta do is throw the shrimp in the water and test it. good luck.

I used 2 Tank raised Perc.'s to cycle my 52gal and they are fine and getting bigger every day. Tank has been up for about 2 months. I used Fritz zime 9 also.

I agree w/chromis as well. I didn't use fish to cycle, but 4+ green chromis will be my first fish due to their hardiness and non-aggression.

use raw seafood to cycle. you damage the fish organs when you cycle with them and any raw seafood is cheap. you may not want the damsels in your tank later but after its cycled you still need a hardy fish to keep the cycle or maturity of the tank going. Don't add tangs or angels the first 6mo. some ppl have had luck alot of ppl haven't but when it comes to sw take your time its not a race
