I have a Harliquin that is almost full grown (3.5") in a tank with a Huma trigger, Yellow tang and a huge Tomato clown and he is really cool. He will wolf down some food though. He is a "swallow it whole now and taste it later" kinda guy. Last night I got a couple ghost shrimp to feed the trigger, WRONG! He swallow two of them before the Trigger knew they were in there, he was on patrol through the Caulerpa. I had to scoop out two more while the Bass was chewing. He also eats pretty good size chunks of chopped Formula One and Two in one gulp. The only thing he doesn't care for is brine shrimp, so that is what I have to use to get a new tank mate to start eating, after he is eating he is on his own!
They spend most of their time hanging around motionless in a hidey-hole waiting for something to eat. He is friendly to the other fish even when the Tang does his "use my tail to antimidate and push you backwards" routine. He just takes off to come to a screaching halt in some other location.
He also yawns every once in a while and you can look straight down his throat. I got mine in South Florida for $8.99.
I also just bought a Chalk Basslett from SWF.com and he is really cool also, a bit small for my taste but that will change. He is in a tank with a Pearlscale and an Imperator.
I am really glad I got mine.
