Loved it. The wife and I have seen every one of them at the theater (we don't go to many movies anymore).
I would say that the series of movies does a lot of justice to the books. By no means are they all very accurate but they draw me in.
I can still remember where and when I read each book and seen each movie. It is kind of interesting to track the last 10 years of my life by the progression of Harry Potter movies.
Long live "The boy who lived"!!!

The movies have not done the books justice....sorry. however I have only watched up to the half blood prince. The movies cut out many conversations and historical bits that have huge implications in the entire series.

Movie was ok in my book.
Story line was bit far bit stretched but it did cover almost everything.
Voldemort died a different death.
Story wasn't as compelling as the book.
It was bitter sweet for me because we all saw this franchise grow and it's sad to say good bye.
I for one, would like to say that this wasn't the best of the series.

Rowling is in talks to expand the franchise. No more potter stories.....but will write something within this wizarding world she created.
On a sidenote, lucas is talking about doing another star wars movie. The guy who just did captain america is pitching it to him.
The movie would be about boba fett...from the minute jango is killed till he is knocked into the sarlas pit.

The Potter series past Star Wars this week as the highest earning movie franchise of all time... Lucas can't let that go uncontested... ...

He already has his series being rereleased in theaters in 3D. He will get the lead back. I am sure that doesn't include tool and memorabilia sales either.

1) If they made the hp movies just like the books they would be multi hrs long just as the extended LOTR movies....btw hp is more better lol
2) I thought you where digested very slowly over thousands of years once eatin by the pitt creature?!?!

How can Boba get out of that? IMO that sounds not so great! They should make the after movies #7,8,9! Idk make up a new threat to the galactic!

Anyone that thinks harry potter is better than LOTR needs their head examined. Those movies were as close to a novel as I have ever seen which is what made them great, on top of the cinematography.
They wont make 7 8 9 for star wars as their are a whole series of novels sanctioned by lucas that span the next 40 years.

I've never seen more than 20 minutes of any of the Star Wars, LOTR or any other fantasy type movie.I'm 43 so it's not like I'm out of the demographic for the movies, I just have found the few minutes I invested in the different franchises to be a complete waste. Walk, talk. Run, talk. Phony action scene. Walk, talk. Fly, talk. Phony action scene. I grew up reading/loving Tolkien and Bradbury, but the endless yapping in the movies they call character development doesn't work for me. The only sci-fi/fantasy movies I can get into is Star Trek and I'm no Trekkie, but at least it makes sense to me. My kids have tried to explain what the mojo of these other movies is, but it hasn't helped.
