The 100w flood lights at home depot? They have hqi and single ended metal halide. I was thinking of getting either the 100 or 150. They are about 100$ and im thinking I could just replace the bulb. Any ideas?

Standard screw in bulb?If nothing else it might be retrofitable with the same wattage fish grade bulb.

you wanna make sure its in the right light spectrum or you'll end up with severe algae problems. I'm actully looking into the same thing for my tank. but the idiots at home depot dont know how to read the package over the phone and tell me the light spectrum....
