Has Anyone Done this

Bringing up a second 55 Gal tank in my house and was looking to do this.
Currently have some purple mushrooms, nice size leather toadstool, and adding a colt, hairy mushroom some GSP, ST plate and a couple of other softies.
Here is my question. I have no fish, and was looking to do a tank of Clowns. Thinking mostly false and some true Percula's. But having only these in the tank. Was thinking about 6 or so. Do people think this would work, and how would it look?

for some reason I thought that if you wanted to keep more than 2 clowns you were supposed to keep an odd number of them....

you might get some aggresion doing more than one type of clown.

I put in a skunk clown with a pair of sebae clowns, and the male sebae clown tore him to pieces eventuially killing him.

yea keep only one type in there. and try to get them all at once so the dont fight. ive seen this done before, looks amazing just with all clowns.

Some true, some false things here.
I have a couple different species of clow in my tank.
Hwat you should do is add them in pairs, and spacve them out in time between additions.
I have a pair of percs, that where in the tank first, then i added a pair of sadddlebacks, and they all get along just fine.
I would DEFINATLY stay away from Clarki's, they are more aggresive.
To add 1 clown to a tank with pairs is not a good idea, that one will be the target of the pair/dominate fish in the tank.
Just my experince, and opinion.

i agree with jedi dont get clarkii clowns there to aggresive. but ive kept more than one type of clown in the same tank before. and i woulld get marrons either. they will fight with other clowns.

My father has had a skunk clown for a while. He added a maroon about 2 months ago. No problems at all so far. But I have heard it's risky.

I have never done it but a book I have says possible only with the Ocellaris. One will turn female and dominate the others but not hurt them unless another turns female.
