I think they are feeding on a shrimp, or something the owner threw in. That is typical school-feeding.

Its actually typical hosting. I see it often with large groups of young clowns it tanks that are otherwise bare. Especially if I take a large group of babies to a show. They do that without any foods added to the tank. They do it for comfort/safety because there are strangers standing around looking and video taping
