has anyone heard of this disease

its called sporotrichosis, just wandering if anyone has heard of it and what they know about it.

Here's the link to the info on the CDC website. According to them it's a fungal infection that can be contracted from handling thorny plants, sphagnum moss, or baled hay.

yeah I have found it on there but not much in the after effects or any from a bad case scenerio from it.
I had it when I was a young kid really bad and wandering if it has anything to do with the back isues I am having now in the other thread LOL
I had it so bad there were lumps from it down my back and arm but I dont know if it has anything to do with it or not

Run that one by your doctor. If you have a slipped disk, my guess is no, nothing to do with it.

The problem was what i had was internal not just the skin version of it. just a thought my mother brought it up because of where I have what the doctor calls lympocycist so she was thinking maybe it did. I have to wait till monday to talk to the doctor though .

Keep us posted as to what the doc has to say about it. I guess i'll do some more reading on it as we have a lot of hay fields here and quite a few cattle and horse farms.

I got it from a rose bush apparently when my iodine levels where low.
its was a new thing for me when my mother brought it up.
