has anyone kept firefish with hermits?

i read from a book that at night, firefish will go into it's favorite "hole" and once it's in there, nothing will let it release it self. And hermits will literally eat them alive!
has anyone had this problem in the past? I recently ordered a clean up krew and I was considering getting some firefish but I just want to make sure before I make any mistakes. ;)

I have a purple firefish gobie and blue leg hermits in my reef. No problems yet. My blue legs are small though. I don't have any scarlet hermits or any other kinds, so I can't give you a complete answer IME. This is the first I've heard of this happening. Wierd.

You should have no problem, I have the purple firefish with many hermits of different kinds, including a strawberry that is about 2" big.
