Has anyone used Pimafix to cure Ick?

Pimafix is an anti fungal medication. It will have no effect on ich whatsoever. Do you have a QT? What all is in the display?

That's what I thought, but the owner of the local fish store swears it will cure it.
Yellow and blue tangs, damsels, LR, Snails, hermits, and a bubble brittle star.
Here is the product description from the website, maybe the "prevents the development of resistant strains of disease-causing organisms" is the key?

I have used both before. They are very mild and don't do too much. They will certainly not do anything for ich. If you do not have a cycled QT then you may want to consider setting up a rubber maid tub for your LR and inverts. You can then perform Hyposalinity on the display. Take a look at Beth's Common Treatments FAQ at the top of this forum for instructions.
