I use it and I love it. If you get any be sure to refridge it after opening. I had a coraline alge bloom in about 2 weeks.

Im just wandering will it help choke out the hair algae and bubble algae I am now using RO water but I still have tap water in my tank.. I am currently using a phos pas, but it seems to not have helped any. I am using RO Water for water changes and topoffs.

Have you cut down on lighting time? Also a bunch of crab and horseshoe crab wil work. The RO water top offs should help in the long run.

I use it and have had great results w/ it. It really seems to promote coralline and made my button polyps look awesome.
It didn't seem to live up to the claim that it keeps ich from attaching to the fish, but what product does? As for the hair algae I had a massive breakout and it went away while I was using it , but I'm not sure if it was because of the reef vital or the yellow tang that gorged on it and my constant pulling it from the rocks. Cleaning my skimmer thoroughly and often helped immensely too.
