The BTA in my 55 Gallon (just got him a week and a half ago) has tentacles that look as though they are splitting.
I have another BTA in a 20 Gallon for 6 months and have never noticed it doing this.
If you look at the bottom tentacles you should be able to see what I am talking about.

I know that the anemone is not splitting.
My question is are it's tentacles splitting.
Here is another picture with a circle drawn around one of the "splitting" tentacles.

My Condy does this periodically, usually around feeding time.
My bta won't stay on top any rocks and always wants to be attached on the bottom with tentacles facing out.

Yep, my RBTA has these same tentacles that look like they are splitting. I have no idea why.
It is healthy and has been in the same spot for a long time without the anemone splitting. Interesting, maybe Thomas would know why.

I have plenty that do that, no worries, no problems, just a simple deformity that happens from time to time, even one of my green ricordias has a fat stump like deformity that doesn't match the rest. Its just a few forked tentacles.
